The Club President
Transcript :
The Club President leads the Club, motivates and involves its members, encourages the development of the membership and ensures the promotion of Rotary and the funding of the Foundation.
He/she is elected by the General Assembly of the Club between 18 and 24 months before taking office.
He/she is then President-nominee.
He/she becomes President-elect 12 months before taking office.
He/she oversees the organization of friendly and attractive statutory meetings.
He/she animates the monthly meetings of the Committee and the Assemblies of the club.
He/she sets annual objectives, registers them on the RI website and supervises the preparation of the budget and the management of finances.
He/she ensures that the Secretary and Treasurer have an account on www.rotary.org and
monitors the club’s progress in Rotary Club Central.
He/she prepares the official visit of the Governor.
He/she encourages members to attend District meetings and he promotes the Rotary
Conventio
