The annual international Convention

Rotary Internati onal holds an annual conventi on during the last quarter of the Rotary year, inviting Rotarians from around the world to att end.

Cities with suffi cient infrastructure to accommodate several tens of thousands of participants can apply.

The objective of these Conventions is to moti vate and inform Rotarians to help them develop Rotary in their Clubs and Districts.

It is also a great opportunity to meet and celebrate friendship between Rotarians from all countries.

The program includes plenary sessions and specialized workshops

Entertainment and conviviality play an important role

It is strongly recommended that every Rotarian participate at least once in a Convention, and thus become aware of the international nature of Rotary.

The electi on of leaders for the following year is carried out: President, Board of Directors and Governors.
