The monthly themes and that of August
Transcript :
Each month, Rotary International highlights a cause essential to the mission of the Rotary movement: this is called the monthly theme.
These themes serve to raise awareness among members and the general public of Rotary’s major humanitarian priorities.
They guide the actions of clubs, inspire local projects and strengthen collective commitment around strong values such as peace, health, education and economic development.
August is dedicated to Membership and New Club Development Month.
This is a key time to reflect on the vitality of Rotary, welcome new members and strengthen diversity.
Recruitment is not just about numbers: it is also about finding motivated people, ready to act for the common good.
It is also an opportunity to create new clubs, adapted to local realities and to rising generations.
