Modular houses in Ukraine

Rotary International has intervened in Ukraine by providing prefabricated housing for people displaced or whose homes have been destroyed.

These modular housing units are affordable and easy to set up structures, providing temporary shelter for conflict-affected families.

They are customizable and can be reused once families have rebuilt their
permanent homes.

In addition, the construction of these modular houses has created jobs in local communities in Ukraine, thus contributing to the economic recovery and reconstruction of the country.

The modular housing donations were funded by Disaster Response Grants, a program of Rotary International that aims to support populations affected by catastrophic events such as wars, earthquakes, floods, etc.

This is a concrete example of how Rotary steps in to provide practical and humanitarian assistance during humanitarian crises.
