Francesco Arezzo, a member of the Rotary Club of Ragusa, Italy, has been selected as Rotary International’s president for 2025-26, following the unexpected resignation of President-elect Mário César Martins de Camargo.

Chosen from candidates nominated in 2023, he officially began his term on July 1st.

His presidential theme, Unite for Good, urges Rotary members to foster unity in a world divided by politics, geography, and ideology.

An orthodontist in private practice, Francesco Arezzo is actively involved in Italian, European, and American orthodontic associations.

He serves as vice president of the National Association of Italian Dentists for Ragusa and led the local National Trust for Italy delegation for seven years.

A dedicated Rotarian for over 30 years, he has served in various leadership roles, including RI director and vice chair of the Joint Strategic Planning Committee.

A Major Donor to The Rotary Foundation, he is also a Knight of the Sovereign Order of Malta.

He and his wife Anna Maria have two children.
