120 Years of Commitment and Service: Rotary Celebrates its Anniversary

On February 23, 2025, Rotary International celebrated its 120th anniversary.

Founded in 1905 by Paul Harris, Rotary is now a global organization with 1.4 million members dedicated to making the world a better place.

Since its inception, Rotary has carried out countless humanitarian and professional initiatives.

Its PolioPlus program has reduced polio by 99.9%, protecting millions of children.

The organization also works in the fields of health, access to clean water, education and literacy, peace, the environment, and economic development.

These 120 years are an opportunity to celebrate these achievements and to continue our commitment to the most vulnerable.

Each club, each Rotarian contributes, in their own way, to writing this story of solidarity.

Together, let us continue to apply “Service above self” and promote Rotary’s values around the world.
