The second meeting took place on March 9, 1905 in Paul HARRIS’ office with 7 participants including 3 new members and the third meeting on March 23, 1905 in Silvester SCHIELE’s office with 15 participants.
During these meetings, a name was given to the club (Rotary Club) on the proposal of Paul HARRIS, the statutory bases were established and Silvester SCHIELE was elected president.
It was decided:
- not to institute dues but to impose a fine of 50 cents on members who fail to meet their obligations
- admit a new member (only one representative member per profession) only if no objection arises
- to limit the duration of admission to one year
- to gather a 3/4 majority to remain a member
- to be named by first names
- to meet every fortnight except in July and August
- to appoint a committee and a president (Paul HARRIS declines the invitation)
