Lebanese Rotary, Rotaract clubs support displaced families
Transcript :
At this very moment, Lebanon is enduring one of the worst crises in its history, with
over 1 million displaced individuals.
Children are not going to school, and women and girls have little to no access to
hygienic products.
Rotary and Rotaract clubs in Lebanon are actively responding by providing aid to
displaced families in schools-turned-shelters.
This includes delivering essential supplies such as food, water, and hygiene kits.
Beyond immediate needs, these clubs are focused on creating a safe and supportive
environment for displaced families.
However, more support is needed to continue providing essential resources and
ensure the well-being and dignity of displaced families.
This crisis aligns with Rotary’s areas of focus, particularly Maternal and Child Health,
Basic Education and Literacy, and Water, Sanitation, and Hygiene.
By uniting and supporting this cause, we can demonstrate the power of Rotary’s
compassion and commitment to change.
