The conferences in the Clubs
Transcript :
The conferences organized by the Clubs are interesting in more ways than one:
• they are a cultural enrichment for each of our members
• they promote the loyalty of Members by giving an attractive character to statutory meetings
• they encourage inviting non-Rotarians to introduce them to Rotary with a view to possible recruitment
Their success requires prerequisites:
• the Club must appoint a Conference Manager
• the choice of themes is important
• the location chosen and the equipment made available to the Speaker must be appropriate
Finally, it is important to choose the Speakers carefully:
• among those who have already intervened in other Clubs
• or those proposed by Club Members
• without forgetting the conferences on Rotarian themes, generally given by District Managers as part of the training
