Rotary e-Clubs

Transcript :

Rotary e-clubs are clubs that use digital platforms for their statutory meetings.

Their members, often geographically dispersed (sometimes across the globe), hold regular virtual meetings, allowing them to balance busy schedules or frequent travel with their Rotary commitments.

Their operation is distinguished by its great flexibility. An in-person meeting can be organized periodically to foster a sense of community.

The main advantage lies in the elimination of geographical and time barriers.

This makes it possible to recruit professionals who, otherwise, would not be able to maintain the required attendance in a traditional club.

Beyond convenience, e-clubs also promote cultural diversity and global cooperation.

Members can share experiences, projects, and ideas from different countries and backgrounds, enriching discussions and initiatives.

Many e-clubs are pioneers in using technology to advance Rotary’s humanitarian goals, such as organizing online fundraisers or coordinating international service projects.

In this way, Rotary e-clubs truly embody Rotary’s motto — “Service Above Self” — in a modern, connected world.
