Meeting other Clubs
Transcript :
Joining a Rotary Club also means entering the Rotary International community.
The change in scale is significant: a few dozen members on one side, more than a million friends in 200 countries on the other.
Our new members must be clearly informed of their new membership of a global network, beyond their own Club.
Indeed, openness to Clubs other than one’s own is an important strength available to Rotarians and it would be a shame to neglect it.
Each opportunity to discover other Clubs, during visits, interclub actions, twinnings or District meetings, is a personal enrichment to be put to good use.
The possibility, especially abroad, of visiting any Rotary-Club makes it possible to meet new friends, to participate in specific meetings and actions and to become aware of the internationality of Rotary.
Rotary is a big global family: it’s up to us to discover it.
